Dräger X-am Pump include USB Power Supply
PN: 8327115
External pump for multi gas detectors
The Dräger X‑am® Pump is an external pump for the Dräger Xam® 2500, 2800, 5000, 5600, and 5800 multigas monitors. The Pump is designed for clearance measurement, continuous monitoring, and personal use. The Pump automatically switches on when it is connected to an operating Xam® device. The user can easily switch from diffusion to pump mode in less than 60 seconds.
Benefits
Easy to use
The pump is attached on the X-am 2500, 2800, 5000, 5600, and 5800 gas monitors and fastened with a clip. Sampling starts automatically once the pump and operating gas detection device are connected. The pump turns off automatically once it is removed from the device.
Charging via USB
The pump battery can be recharged using the micro USB port. A standard cellphone charger can be used and the charge status is indicated by an LED on the pump. A full charge takes approximately six hours.
Handy and robust
The pump is easy to carry and store because of the compact dimensions. The Dräger Xam pump is dust and water resistant according to the IP67 protection classification and it performs reliably even at temperatures down to -40 F/C . The battery is also protected against damage due to dropping or impact.
Effective range of measuring results: with explosion protection
The pump can reach inaccessible places– up to a distance of 147 ft (45 m), ex: manholes, vaults, pits, silos, pipes, tunnels, or tank systems. The pump has been optimized for hoses with a diameter of 3 mm– for fast response times and low power consumption. The use of the pump in combination with a Xam device ensures you of precise measuring results– even in the most demanding situations. The pump is also certified for use in Class 1 Zone 0.
Long operating time for long deployments
The pump has a rugged interior and exterior frame for contentious use. The battery capacity lasts up to 20 hours of continuous operation and is independent of the Xam monitors.
Data logger
Pump operating time, charge status, battery warning, and flow alarm are displayed on the Dräger X-am monitors and stored in the data logger. This feature displays the results of the clearance measurements separate from the evaluations of personal monitoring.
