Foster® Sheer Defense™ 40-51 is a mold resistant clear coat that provides excellent resistance to mold growth in mold remediation, construction and remodeling projects. The low viscosity of Foster® 40-51 allows it to be applied by hand or with virtually any type of airless spray system. Foster® 40-51 appears white when wet but dries to a clear finish allowing the original surface to be visible beneath the coating. It has a water resistant finish and is flexible and crack resistant. Foster® 40-51 is ideal for use in a wide variety of applications including attics, wall cavities, crawl spaces, wood framing, floor joists, drywall and other building materials.
